The American Society of Home Inspectors
(ASHI) is the oldest and leading nonprofit
professional association for independent home
inspectors.
|
 |
ASHI's Standards
of Practice have served as the home inspector's
performance guideline since 1976. They are universally
recognized and accepted by professional and government
authorities alike.
|
 |
ASHI members subscribe to a professional Code of
Ethics prohibiting them from engaging in activities
which would be a conflict of interest and might
compromise their objectivity.
|
 |
The ASHI Standards
of Practice and Code
of Ethics were adopted by Mississippi in 2001 as
the State's “Standards and Code of Ethics”.
|
 |
ASHI sponsors technical seminars, workshops and
conferences throughout the year to assist home
inspectors in furthering their education.
